Sioux Falls paintingby a painter you'll actually know.
Letting a painter into your home shouldn't mean guessing who he is. I'm Scott Cohoon. I've owned Cornerstone from the day it opened, I run the work myself, and when you call, you get me.
Texting works too: (605) 941-9215. Rather write it out? The estimate form is below.

Painting in Sioux Falls
A reputation built one job at a time.
Sioux Falls has plenty of painting contractors. Most of them you'll never meet. You'll meet me. I started Cornerstone in 1999, and I'm still the one looking at your walls and giving you the number.
The range is wider than most, too: exteriors and interiors across town, commercial buildings, and the industrial work most residential outfits won't bid. All of it quoted and run out of my shop on South Ellis Road.
How close are we to Sioux Falls?
We're based right here in Sioux Falls, so most of the city is a short drive for estimates and jobs.
01
Anywhere in town
From the older streets near downtown to the new builds out west, it's all in the service area. Exteriors, interiors, commercial, industrial.
02
You deal with me, start to finish
The person who looks at the job and gives you the number is the person responsible on site. That's how it's been the whole way.
03
Small jobs, real timelines
Most small jobs run two to three days, because coats need proper dry time between them. Rushing that is how finishes fail early.

The whole trade, under one Sioux Falls roof.
Exterior, interior, commercial, industrial. We run the full menu out of our shop on South Ellis Road, so whatever the job is, it isn't out of range.
Homes and businesses across this town, with me responsible for the finish. If you want a second opinion, look us up on Google.
“We wholeheartedly recommend Scott and his team for your painting projects, both interior and exterior. They have painted the exterior of our home twice in the past thirty years. That was a challenging feat as our home has three levels on a sloped hillside! More recently they painted our main level following a kitchen remodeling project. This involved painting 25-30 foot ceilings, a stairwell on two levels and the walls. This group is professional, efficient and entertaining. Their pricing is very competitive as well. We have referred them to others and believe they will always do their best.”
Four steps, same order every time. Most of the care goes into the prep, because that's what decides how long the finish lasts.
01
Call Scott
Tell me what you're working with. A house exterior, an interior after a remodel, a commercial building. You're talking to the owner from the first minute, and I'll set up a time to come look.
02
I come out and look at it myself
I walk the job, check what the surfaces need, and give you a clear number. You talk to me, not a desk. The man pricing the work is the man responsible for it.
03
Prep work done right
The finish is only as good as what's under it. Powerwash, defect and rot check, carpentry repairs where needed, prime and caulk, all before the brush or roller ever touches the wall.
04
I check it before it's called done
I've been doing it myself since day one. Navy discipline means done is actually done. My crew packs up, cleans up, and leaves your home the way they found it.
Call, text, or send the form. Either way the next step is the same: a time gets set, the job gets looked at in person, and you get a real number for it.
